Wine Advocate 87 points - David Ramey continues to expand his wine business with a moderately priced label called Sidebar. I tasted six cuvees, all 2014s from Sidebar, and they are straightforward, easygoing, bistro-styled wines. With respect to the reds, the 2014 Red Rhoneish (a blend of 48% Mourvedre, 37% Grenache and the rest Syrah) is Cote the Rhone-like with lavender, pepper, strawberry and cherry fruit. All of the other red wines were easygoing and pleasant, but generally uninspiring. Drink them over the near-term.
