Wine Spectator 91 points - Firmly tannic, with a gravelly edge to the ripe cherry, raspberry, red plum and anise flavors. Needs a little time, as the structure is very tight and the finish persistent. Drink now through 2021. 3,600 cases made.-JL

Vinous 89 points - Dark red cherries, plums, spices, cinnamon, new leather and tobacco jump from the glass in the 2013 Pinot Noir Estate, a blend of mostly Sweetwater and Little Hill, with about 30-40% Westblock young vines and some River Block. Drink this supple, forward Pinot over the next few years.
