Fine, very perfumed nose. This harmonious, well-constituted wine has the typical softness of Beaune’s Premiers Crus. Good ageing potential.
Wine Spectator 89 points - Strikes a balance between the cherry and earth flavors, with a delicate profile and tight structure. This is focused and lingers on the finish. Best from 2017 through 2024. 1,000 cases imported.-BS

Vinous 87 points - Good full, deep red. Deep black cherry, licorice, gingerbread, leather and earth on the nose, lifted by a whiff of orange zest. Ripe, lush and fine-grained; more accessible today than the Monthelie wines. Musky redcurrant and spice flavors are supported by decent ripe acidity. Finishes broad but not at all dry, with an enticing return of fruit and good lift.
