SLO Down Wines was founded by Brandon Allen, Chip Forsythe and Bo Silliman. Chip received his degree in winemaking and viticulture from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California, which is locally referred to as SLO - hence the winery’s name. Marketing Director Bo Silliman and partner Brandon Allen make up the rest of the management team.
|Produced using fruit sourced from vineyards in Napa, Sonoma and Lodi was aged in neutral oak (30%) with malolactic and the remainder in stainless steel tanks.
