Dark, deep red in color, Terrunyo Carmenere has complex and elegant aromas of ripe red berries, plum, spice and a hint of tobacco. Powerful and concentrated fruit flavors reappear on the palate caressed in sweet tannins. Full in the mouth with great structure and a lingering finish.
Vinous 91 points - Inky ruby. Explosively perfumed aromas of ripe black and blue fruits, with suave floral and Indian spice overtones. Juicy and focused, offering intense boysenberry and candied violet flavors that become sweeter with air. Closes on a smoky note, with excellent clarity and lift and supple tannins that move in slowly.  (Jun 2015)

Wine Spectator 88 points - Offers an engaging mix of savory herb and dried berry flavors that are fleshy yet well-structured. Crunchy midpalate, with pepper and allspice accents on the tannic finish. Drink now through 2018. 7,150 cases made.-KM  (May 31 2015)
