Deep and intense purple with black hues , this wineis known for its perfect balance between complexity and structure. It oozes aromas of wild black fruits like blackberries, and red fruits like plums and cherries, as well as spices and flowers, like violets and mint. Tertiary aromas of black chocolate, vanilla and smoky notes are clearly present, brought together by ageing in oak barrels. Thanks to a remarkably well-integrated acidity, this wine is lively and fresh, but still robust with a lingering finish in the mouth.
Wine Advocate 89 points - The 2008 Single Vineyard Los Aromos Cabernet Sauvignon was picked in the fourth week of April and is raised in new French oak for between 18 and 20 months. It has better delineation on the nose compared to the 2007, with blackberry, blueberry and a touch of graphite. The palate is full-bodied with dense, tarry black fruit, moderate acidity and a grainy, defined finish that leaves a touch of alcohol at the back of the throat. Drink 2014-2020. (Oct 2012)
